where the NBA and music COLLIDE!
Each team will have a song that represents them from the past season or for the upcoming season.
Just when people were ready to count out the Heat, (not Heats for some of you) they are back in play! Pat Riley worked his magic yet again with the trade for Goran Dragic last season. He managed to snag Justise Winslow in the draft and signed Gerald Green and Amare Stoudamire to bolster the bench. With a healthy Chris Bosh returning, the Pat Riley has positioned the Heat to be the biggest threat to the Cavaliers in the East.
They may be young be they're READYYYY. Jason Kidd took a 15-win team to 41 wins. With a healthy Jabari Parker returning and the addition of a low post presence in Greg Monroe, I believe these young Bucks will make even more noise this season.
The Minnesota Timberwolves team President and Head Coach Flip Sanders lost his battle to cancer. I believe the tea, will play hard and dedicate this season to him.
NEW ORLEANS PELICANS
With a top 5 player in the league in Anthony Davis on your roster, the sky is truly the limit for the Pelicans. That is IF and only IF they can stay healthy.
Something that has not happened the last few seasons and not happening now to start this season.
NEW YORK KNICKS
Poor Knicks fans, hopefully, this season is better.
I do not know how much more your heart can take.
OKLAHOMA CITY THUNDER
With Durant eligible to become a free agent at the end of the season, the Thunder have one more chance at a championship before they potentially lose their best player.
The Magic have a talented roster. They are just a very young team. They will be good but I am not sure if they will make a playoff push just yet. However I would not be surprised if they did.
Should I say more?
The Suns have been on the brink of the playoffs the past few seasons. With the trade they made for Brandon Knight during the season and the signing of Tyson Chandler this offseason, they hope to take a step to the next level and finally reach the playoffs.
The Trailblazers are officially Damian Lillard's team. They "might win some but they just lost one". LaMarcus Aldridge is gone and so is the hope of making the playoffs for this team.
George Karl and DeMarcus Cousins are not on the best of terms following the offseason trades rumors. The Kings crafted a nice roster this offseason so both coach and player have to take their issue with each other and LET IT GOOOOOOOOO so this team can be successful.
SAN ANTONIO SPURS
The Spurs have not had a losing season since the 1996-97 season. Since the 1999, the team have won 50 plus games in every season. With the addition of LaMarcus Aldridge to the roster, it is safe to say the Spurs will not pick up losing habits any time soon.
Had to pick a Drizzy song for the Raptors right? The team signed two Canadians this offseason in Cory Joseph and Anthony Bennett. Now that they are back home I am sure they are RUNNING THRU THE 6 WIT THEir WOES! And you know how that goes...
Well Gordon Hayward is their best player....
The Wizards will be good but not great. They are hoping that Kevin Durant has some hometown glory and returns to Washington to play for them after the season.
