Every friend is Not around forever…
we learned that lesson already
Either way it is not conducive to a positive friendship or lifestyle.
Make it a point to only keep the most genuine and positive people in your life.
be kind To Yourself
No one understands your dreams or vision for the future like you do. It is okay to not share or be able to articulate your goals to others, as long as you understand your mission. In working to reach these goals remember to be kind to yourself. You are not going to nail every interview or receive a job offer from everyone in your network but that should not discourage you, keep trying! This is especially true for those who have recently graduated college. We walked out of our last undergraduate class prepared to conquer the world, unaware of the harsh realities the world would soon swing our way. As you work to overcome these trials do not discredit yourself. Your accolades are as relevant as they were when you first received them. You have literally been in school for the last 18 years, so it is okay if the first couple of years out of college are a little rough. As far as protecting your energy goes, begin by not speaking negatively about yourself. Encourage yourself through music, religion, or talking to those you can trust to cheer you on through every trial. As for nagging relatives each time an aunt or uncle asks,
“So Alaysia what are you working on next?”
I respond, “Wherever Lord the leads me is where I’ll end up.”
Literally I hear nothing after that.
Do you find anything listed difficult to overcome?
